This short trail has a big pay-off. Just a few hundred yards in, you will come to a sharp bend in the West Branch of the Salmon Brook. Bounded by a steep, trap rock ridge, this bend creates a deep pool of water that is beautiful in all seasons, but especially on a hot summer day.
