An oldie but a goodie! ➡️Check out this June 2023 shot of Baltimore Oriole mates and their nest near the South Marsh at the GLT’s Dismal Brook Wildlife Preserve. If you look closely, you’ll see that the female has breakfast ready for her nestlings. We once again thank GLT Member Don Shaw, Jr. for sharing this incredible photo. We saw a number of Orioles on this year’s GLT Bird Walks, so be on the lookout when you visit the Dismal Brook Wildilife Preserve!

Today, we remember and honor those who served and died in service to our nation 🇺🇸. They sacrificed their lives for us to protect our country and preserve our democratic ideals. One way to honor our fallen heroes is by attending today’s Memorial Day Parade in Granby which commences at 10AM. Photo courtesy of Peter Dinella. Have a meaningful Memorial Day.
