On Sunday, October 6, the Granby Land Trust and the Granby Artists Association invite you to join us for The BIG PAINT, an event featuring artists working en plein air (in the open air). This year’s event will showcase the beauty of the GLT’s 210-acre Dismal Brook Wildlife Preserve in North Granby.

ARTISTS: Please arrive at 8 AM to find your subject matter. This property offers a variety of paint-worthy settings, including two marshes, a stunning pond, an open field, beautiful woodlands, and more.

VISITORS: You are invited to explore the property and chat with the artists as they work.

This event is a lead-up to our juried Art Show – Celebrating New England’s Natural Beauty – which will run November 7 through December 8 at Lost Acres Vineyard. We anticipate that many of the works created at the BIG PAINT will be entered in the show.

This beautiful property is the perfect place to spend a Sunday in October. We hope you’ll join us.
