Coyotes: Nature’s Tricksters

Eastern coyotes were first documented in Connecticut more than 60 years ago. Today they are common throughout the state. Often described as opportunistic animals with regard to habitat and diet, the coyote is also known as the “trickster” in Native American folklore. Master Conservationist Ginny Apple presents the eastern coyote’s backstory as well as offering tips about how to prevent conflicts with this North American wild canine. Registration required.
