Our Annual Juried Art Show
The Celebrating New England's Natural Beauty Art Show is an annual juried art exhibition held at Lost Acres Vineyard in North Granby, Connecticut. Hosted by the Granby Land Trust and the Granby Artists Association, this show celebrates the beauty of New England's landscapes and the importance of conservation through exceptional artwork inspired by the natural world.
Featuring talented artists from across the region, the exhibition offers visitors the opportunity to experience fine art in a spectacular vineyard setting. Artists are invited to submit their work for consideration, with more than $6,000 in awards available.
Celebrating Art, Nature and Conservation
Each fall, artists from across New England share original works inspired by forests, fields, mountains, rivers, and wildlife—celebrating the landscapes we love while helping protect the places that inspire them.
Hosted at beautiful Lost Acres Vineyard, the month-long exhibition features paintings, photography, sculpture, and other fine art available for purchase. A portion of every sale benefits the Granby Land Trust's mission to protect the region's natural heritage.
The 2026 exhibition runs October 29–November 29, 2026.

Opening Night – October 29
Join us for the opening reception featuring complimentary hors d'oeuvres, wine (one glass per person), an awards presentation, and the opportunity to meet many of the exhibiting artists.
More than $6,000 in awards will be presented during Opening Night. All artwork will be available for purchase, with a portion of sales benefiting the Granby Land Trust.

We invite artists to submit original works inspired by the natural beauty of New England—from the sandy beaches of Cape Cod and the Green Mountains of Vermont to the rocky coast of Maine and the forests, fields, and waterways of Connecticut.
We also get excited when we see artwork celebrating Granby's unique landscapes. Several awards recognize pieces inspired by Granby Land Trust preserves and Granby scenes (see prospectus for details).

📣 EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT: On September 17, the Simsbury Public Library will host The Lost Forests of New England, the first in a series of films that comprise its America 250 Forest Series 🌳.
What were New England’s woodlands like prior to 1600? What do the small old-growth remnants look like today and what special values, if any, do they hold? "The Lost Forests of New England", a one-hour documentary film by New England Forests, addresses these and other questions in an effort to bring clarity to a subject that is often lost in the mists of time. The film tells the story of central New England's pre-settlement primeval forests, factors that led to the nearly complete clearing of those forests, and the discovery of remnants of those wonderful woodlands.
The audience will be treated to a visual tour of woodlands that have endured for centuries, through compelling images that contrast the old growth sites with today’s highly altered landscape. The result is a side-by-side comparison between original and reshaped woodlands that makes a strong case for preserving the ancient remnants.
This film is intended for the general public, but will serve the needs of resource managers, conservationists, and environmental interpreters alike. Reception at 6pm with the film following shortly after at 6:30pm in the Program Room at Simsbury Public Library. The Granby Land Trust is proud to support the America 250 Forest Series.
